Just as Yves Klein had a penchant for monochromatic art, I likewise like to create with monochromatic works.  'The Blue Revolution' continues to swell....  The purity of ultramarine intrigues me greatly.
Yet, it was a must for me to create a work in IKB.  But only with pigment powder so that the velvety look adds an extra dimension.  Acrylic paint would completely rape the work and any intensity would be lost that way.
